The college is a unit of the Sarvamangalam Educational and Welfare Society which is a registered Society under the Societies’ Registration Act. The College is managed by a team of doctors. In the true spirit of its name, the society’s objective is to provide health care and education for one and all without any distinction being made on the basis of caste, class, creed or religion.

In its first step, the society decided to start a Dental college and Hospital for generating awareness especially amongst the underprivileged and ignorant people of the state, who have not been able to understand the importance of oral health care and have been suffering from oral and dental diseases for want of adequate medical facilities.
